Previous Events
Take a peek at what our community events looked like this year. Our goal is to bring age appropriate events to our Girl Scouts at least once a month. These events are created with the Girl Scout mission statement in mind and are unique each year. With the help of local community businesses and volunteers, we are able to put give our Girl Scouts a memorable time while stationed at Spangdahlem AFB.
 Spangdahlem Girl Scouts got to go on a once in a lifetime adventure to Our Chalet located in the Swiss Alps. |  Another successful paint night is in the bag - this year's theme was unicorns! |  Juniors, Cadettes and Seniors earned their detective, special agent and truth seeker badges at 1920's Murder Mystery Party. Special thanks to our local O.S.I. Special Agents for volunteering at this badge workshop. |

 Earth Day 2018 was celebrated by cleaning up our outdoor area, making reusable bags out of old community shirts, decorated an old bench and peace poles, recycled pudding cups into planters and planted bee loving flowers. |  Spangdahlem Girl Scouts had an adventure cabin camping in Manderscheid for Juliette Gordon Low's birthday. |
 2017 Girl Scout Camp was Harry Potter Themed. Girls had a magical time making wands, doing science experiments, and taking classic Hogwarts classes such as Divination and Defense Against the Dark Arts. |

 Ice Skating was the perfect event to bring our Girl Scout community together this winter. |

 Daisies earned their Safety Pin and Brownies earned their First Aid Badge at a Mad Hatter First Aid Tea Party! |

 Girl Scouts Spangdahlem participated in the SHS Homecoming Parade. |

 Super S.T.E.A.M Summer Day Camp. Girls from ages 5 and up learned all about STEAM! From bubbles and slim to rockets and coding. These girls had a blast! |

 2018 Spring Camp! Who says fishing and archery are for boys! Girls scouts from Daisy all the way up to Senior spent 3 days tent camping. The girls hiked, fished, learned archery, and made their own lumiere!! |

 2018 Fall Camp!! A little rain didn't stop us from camping and hiking! |

 Fall Carnival! This is a new event, where each level created their own game and handed out candy! |

 2019 Cookie Rally! This years theme was Shake, Rattle and Roll! Girls and leaders dressed in their best 50s wear learned how to run a cookie booth, answered some trivia and got to sample some cookies!! |

 2019 Mad Scientist Night! Daisy's and Brownies put their safety glasses on, and worked on some science! We made eggs and raisins float, salt and pepper stick to balloons, and made slime!! |

 Second annual Paint Your Art Out event!!! This year we painted Llamas! |

 Spring Family Camp 2019!! The girls learned basic outdoor skills!!! Knife skills, Lashing, how to build a fire, foraging, first aid and Orienteering |

 2019 Choose your Adventure Summer Day Camp!!! Each day girls chose what activities in Art, Outdoor, or STEAM they got to do!!! Three days of learning about Art, Outdoor and Steam, then made Derby cars and had a lock in at the Middle School!! |
